- 1. Q: Can I pay you after the grant is funded?
- A: No. The service provided by Celegrande Consulting is on a fee for service basis and is paid in full when the project is completed. In some cases a retainer fee is required.
- 2. Q: Can you write yourself into the grant?
- A: Historically, I do not write myself into a grant because of the resources (time, paper, and toner) used to create your proposal). I can however, write myself into your grant to provide a specific service associated with your program. Of course, I would be honored to help you get your program up and running as well as assist with program oversight and monitoring.
- 3. Q: Do you work on a contingency basis or for a percentage of the grant?
- A: No.
- 4. Q: Can you guarantee our organization will be funded?
- A: No. There are no guarantees your grant proposal will be funded. However, if your proposal is not funded, we will either re-write your proposal for resubmission or write another grant proposal of comparable difficulty for the cost of supplies only. In essence we are donating our time to complete the rewrite at no cost to your organization.
- 5. Q: Can you write my grant for free?
- A: No.
- 6. Q: Who do you usually write for?
- A: Our clients are mainly small non-profit organizations and local public housing and redevelopment authorities.
- 7. Q: Can you get me a grant to start my for profit business?
- A: No. For the most part grants are for non-profit businesses.
- 8. Q: Can you help me obtain my non-profit status?

- A: Yes. My staff and I prepare for each consultation and then complete a synopsis and action plan after meeting with you and/or your staff.
